The Corentium Home (also sold as Airthings 223) is the detector we recommend when someone wants reliable radon monitoring without the complexity of apps, Wi-Fi setup, or multi-sensor systems. It does one thing — measures radon — and does it very well.
The large LCD display shows three numbers: current day reading, 7-day average, and long-term average. This alone is more informative than most passive test kits. The long-term average is what matters most for health risk assessment, and the display makes it easy to monitor without any technical knowledge.
Powered by three AA batteries that last approximately 2 years, it requires no installation or setup — just place it in your home (basement or first floor), and it starts collecting data immediately. After 24 hours you'll have a preliminary reading, and after 7 days, a statistically reliable average.
